Now this is a simple image that after looking at the title and then the image that you really don't have to bother trying to piece together with your thought processes what the photographer is trying to depict, which is usually not always the the case.
For I am suggesting that the image speaks for itself.
The image was not done the traditional photographer's way-having a plan and then executing it.   But while editing and almost culling the image(and some may say that I should have continued down that road).

I decided on the value of making it into a conceptual piece.
I must ,now, say that the image or its depiction is not in any way an attempt to cast blame on anyone, that I am not attempting to blaspheme and of course I am not bearing "historical grudges". But the idea came to mind while editing  that the image had tremendous historical value in the  part of the world where Christopher Columbus "made his discoveries" and where there was a preponderance of peoples from Africa.
In other words, the image is a record of history from my part of the world, so far as religion is concern.
And to conclude I'll ponder:-no wonder why I say Cuba is an enabling environment for a Creative Photographer.
