We are Different People!

We are Different People! We are Different People! Now, during the Christmas season earlier this year or late last year however you want to view it. My partner and I were doing Christmas cleaning of our home on a large scale, for the first time. I realized that our thought processes as far as approaches to cleaning and rearranging things were different. Mind you ,this was the first time we were doing this sort of thing together. So we were cleaning her special space in the home where this piece of furniture (the love seat) now stays and it was at this point when cushion covers were being changed that it struck me to make this conceptual piece.
The still life of the love seat depicts one seat with dark and one with light cushion covers. Their patterns are also different-hence the title.
You see ,even as we come together as love mates we are not the same-we may not be the same in the level of education, in the kind of education, in race, of course may be in sex, in nationality, an so on. I am sure you understand where i am going with this. Because ,you ever wonder if we were all the same how boring this world, our world would be?
Yes my dear people. It is our differences that bring us together . Yet ,it is our differences that most times fling us apart.
This is one of the constant paradoxes that we have to live with and possibly by.
