The Artist ,her PALETTE and her SUBJECT.The Artist ,her PALETTE and her SUBJECT.This again was from first shooting of a wedding. This is the second part of my capturing of the preparation of the bride. The first was the hair stylist and her work.
Now, I was scolded by the person who helped me with this wedding by taking too much time with what I do-my more experienced colleague and friend(who up to this day tells me that he is a business man and I the photographer).
He argues that people wouldn't want to pay me for inputs.
I do these kinds of things because I am expressing discovery, learning and passion.
I saw three main expressions from my subjects here:- CONFIDENCE -of the artist in her performance of the task and in her subject-the confidence/trust if you like, that she bestowed in the artist to do this piece of work on her first main public appearance as a WOMAN and sometime possibly in the future a MOTHER.
PATIENCE-of the artist to get things right, no matter the interruptions and her subject, the willingness to remain in one place and position for an inordinately long time.
The third is the PRIDE while doing the work and at the end when it all come together with a warm smile, an expression of wow or any other that gives her the feedback of SATISFACTION FOR A JOB WELL DONE.

This again, was from my  first shooting of a wedding. This is the second stage of my capturing of the bridal preparation. The first was the hair stylist in action.
My more experienced colleague and friend who helped with this first one(after seeing my work , because he was responsible for the editing then) said that I took and did too much and that  people wouldn't want and pay for my kind of inputs.

The funny thing, though, is that  I work because I am expressing discovery, learning and passion.

I saw three main emotions/expressions  shown by  my subjects here:- the first,CONFIDENCE -of the artist in her performance of the task and in her subject-the confidence/trust if you like, that she bestowed in the artist to do this piece of work  for  her first main public appearance as a WOMAN.

The second, PATIENCE-of the Artist to get things right, no matter the interruptions and in her subject, the willingness to remain in one place and position for an inordinately long time.

The third, is the PRIDE of the Artist now , as she is doing  her work and  the  warm smile (that you can't see here-but the one I saw but did not capture- which expressed the same emotion), after the task at hand was  completed, and  the expressions,  demonstrating feedback were pouring in.
